This week, Dominic Lenton from Engineering & Technology Magazine reviews a revised edition of Spaceman by Jamie Doran and Piers Bizony as well as some new Haynes Manuals that have recently been published. Kris Sangani explains what’s happening to digital TV channels as the UK undergoes the digital switchover and our STEM Ambassador of the Week is Tim Bowen from the Institute of Nephrology at Cardiff University. Radio Cardiff‘s Jane Morris talks to Tony Whitehead from the IET about the risks associated with nuclear energy in light of the recent disaster in Japan and this week’s Subject of Science is Charles Darwin’s grandfather, Erasmus Darwin.
