Introducing The Animal Science Podcast

By the American Society of Animal Science

It's easy for scientists and the public to get fired up about issues in animal science. Whether it's animal welfare or meat production, everyone's got opinions. The Animal Science Podcast explores the science behind these tough topics. Every week, our podcast presents news and one-on-one interviews from leading researchers. The Animal Science Podcast is available on podbean.com and for iTunes download.

Our first show is an interview with Dr. Temple Grandin. Grandin is famous for her work as a animal behavior researcher and author. Last year, HBO turned Grandin's early life into the acclaimed film Temple Grandin. Listen to this podcast to hear Grandin explain her view of animal science education and the need for public outreach.
