Introducing the Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy Center of WNC Podcast

Hello!

I'm posting to introduce you to our podcast.

The Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy Center of WNC, P.A., located in Asheville, NC, is dedicated to delivering and disseminating the Cognitive-Behavioral Therapies.  This podcast is part of our efforts.  We will bring you up-to-date information on a variety of topics which pertain to these therapies.

Some of our podcasts will be of interest to professionals only, consumers only or both.  At the top of the blog text pertinent to a particular episode we will designate the group(s) the particular episode is likely to be of interest to (the podcast site is: http://behaviortherapist.podbean.com).

Additionally, we will generally have three categories of episodes:

1) General: These episodes will address general issues in the field and may have relevance to professionals, consumers or both.

2) Healthcare professional: These episodes will teach behavioral skills that are likely to be of interest to the patients of healthcare professionals (e.g., behavioral techniques for getting children to sleep).

3) History: These episodes will interview leaders in the field, or their primary students, in order to preserve the history of the cognitive and behavioral therapies.

All episodes will be cataloged by these categories, their general content and by interest group.

We hope you’ll consider subscribing to our podcast!

Please consider listening to our current episode on the behavioral treatment of Tourette Syndrome here: http://behaviortherapist.podbean.com/2010/06/08/behavioral-treatment-of-tourette-syndrome/

Thanks!
