Nurse Poison Prevention Program Tips and Resources This Week on the Nursing Show

The Nursing Show

This coming March 15 to 21 will be Poison Prevention Week. To participate in the poison prevention campaign, nurses can collaborate with their local poison centers to set up programs to educate health providers and the public regarding poison safety awareness. In this episode of the nursing Show, the podmedic does an interview segment with Angel Bivens of the Maryland Poison Center and they talk about using resources from the regional poison centers to set up a local education program, meeting, or training to teach the public about poison prevention for patients at all ages. Also in the show are health care news for nurses and links to resources for more information.
