Pythagoras' Trousers - Episode #1

The IET & Libel Reform
On our first show, we talk to the CEO of the IET, Nigel Fine. Nigel tells us all about what the Institution does, why it’s important, what it can offer to those working in the fields of Engineering & Technology and how to get involved. To mark the launch of our STEM Ambassador of the Week feature Tina Crimp from Techniquest tells us a little bit about herself, her role as manager of the STEM Ambassador Scheme throughout Wales and why the scheme is necessary. Finally, we chat to maths journalist and broadcaster, Simon Singh. Simon tells us of his love of Fermat, how he went from being a particle physicist to a TV & radio presenter and his campaign for Libel Reform.
