scienceTASTIC Episode 055 - El Chupacabra

This episode of scienceTASTIC is like a classic slow-building horror movie. It starts out unassuming - we have stories about a hundred-year starship, how dogs rely on seeing their owners' face, and myths about Halloween candy - but then the creepy factor really kicks in. Mike gives you the chills as he describes how your neighbor (who is, in all likelyhood, an axe murderer) could be spying on you all the time. Mark dares you to keep the lights off as you learn the connection between cancer and mummies. And finally, Joe gathers you all around the campfire to reveal the true story of the blood-sucking chupacabra. There's only one word to describe this episode: spooktacular.

What we didn't get to: evolving malaria-transmitting mosquitos, scary new fish, and an Optimus Prime costume you can make at home out of cereal boxes.
