Raising Children – Interview with Author Jamie Raser

Books on parenting are like books on dieting - there are lots of them out there and it's easy to get buried in them. Here’s one you should know about: "Raising Children You Can Live With" by Jamie Raser. It was published in 1999 and still has some of the best advice out there. Raser has an approach to parenting that is not about "picking your battles", but about staying out of battles altogether and talking with your child in a way that doesn’t lead to shouting, screaming and anger. I think all parents will find helpful information in this episode of The Psych Files.Click to Listen to this Episode Click to Listen to this Episode
