Kinematics of Trauma Review for EMS

The MedicCast

Oftentimes in trauma cases, not all the injuries sustained by the patient would have an immediate physical manifestation. In such cases, the extent of assessment lies in the emergency responders knowledge of the kinematics of trauma. With this concept, they are able to anticipate possible hidden injuries and institute specific precautions based on the mechanism of injury or how the injury occurs. Know more about kinematics of trauma from host Jamie Davis, the podmedic in this week's episode of the Mediccast.

EMS news and links to the tip of the week are also included in the program.
