Passion for your Work is Overrated

Everyone tells you that you should have “passion for your work”. In fact, in the US culture we seem to pressure ourselves about this idea.  Perhaps the whole thing is a waste of mental energy.  According to research by Dan Gilbert, author of Stumbling on Happiness, you might actually enjoy work that you never dreamed could make you happy.  This week's episode on The Psych Files podcast.
