2008 Wrap-up for Dr. Weisz' School Psychology Podcast and Blog

gw-picDr. Weisz wraps up the first year of his school psychology podcast and blog in this episode, discussing the focus of the episodes, the variety of topics and plans for future episodes.

Topics covered this year most frequently were evidence-based practices in education and psychology. Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports was an approach focused on in several episodes. PBIS is a package of evidence-based practices emphasizing preventive, proactive and school-wide interventions. Additionally, there were episodes on autism, special education disorders, laws and procedures. Classroom practices were discussed.
