More on EMS Pharmacology on the MedicCast Podcast

Following last week's Episode 127 on routes of medication administration and BLS epinephrine use, I decided to add to the discussion by expanding on the basic concepts of EMS pharmacology this week. With a focus on the dual concepts of Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics, this week's show goes in close and looks at some of the ways medications are affected once they are inside the body.

The MedicCast EMS podcast is a program for EMTs and paramedics designed to convey news, commentary, a bit of humor and important news, tips, and updates to hard working EMS providers on the streets.

Plus, another look at epinephrine, this time from the ALS medication perspective.
