Medical Communication on the MedicCast

One of the challenges facing EMS providers in the field is communicating effectively with other medical personnel. Passing along patient information in a clear, concise manner is as much an art as it is a skill. This week on the MedicCast EMS podcast for EMTs and paramedics, we discuss ways to pass along vital patient information so that nothing gets lost in translation.

We also take a look at the pain relieving drug, Nubain, which is showing up in more and more EMS drug boxes for use in the field.
