Maryland Poison Control Covers Dextromethorphan OD

A podcast for nurses, by nurses.This week's Nursing Show episode 24 features a ToxTidbit segment from the Maryland Poison Control Center and Lisa Booze, their spokesperson. She talks about the history of this common cough and cold medication and how it began to be used as a drug of abuse. Lisa also addresses common presentations of this particular drug when abused and treatments both in the field by EMS personnel and in the hospital or facility setting.
