Mass Gathering Medicine on the MedicCast Live

This month's MedicCast Live, the EMS panel and guest call-in radio show, features a look at the challenges faced by medical providers, emergency responders, and community planners when preparing for large gatherings of people in their communities.  Football games, NASCAR races, county fairs, concerts, and more all need additional medical coverage to take care of the gathered attendees.  This month's special guests from Cabarrus County, NC EMS shared their experiences planning for events attended by 220,000 people several times each year.
